Horizontal Sheave

Application horizontal sheave on the ship very large. Sheave is mounted on the deck of the ship, guide rope device while docking use.

Sheave body has a central opening for rope or chain to wear home cable guide hole, front and back ends respectively provided sheave same size front piece and after piece. Sheave opening shape is approximately elliptical shape of a rectangle with rounded ends, the surface geometry of the hole cross section is symmetric structure and smooth rounded surface of the hole to prevent the rope or chain in contact with the surface wear. Sheaves are provided horizontal, vertical, diagonal ribs to increase stiffness and sheaves strength. Sheave compact structure, reasonable openings, except for ordinary vessels towing or mooring, but also for navigation in the canal waterway ship is towed or moored.
