Individual Screen Instrumentation Cables are mainly used in data processing and process control i.e. instrument panel, general transmission of electrical signals for a remote control, where it needs to be protected from interference of the transmission signal by other electrical circuits.

This 250V BS 6883 Individual Screen Instrumentation & Control Cable is designed for use in wet or dry locations. It has a maximum conductor emerature of 90℃ and a low temperature rating of -40℃. The cable jacket is resistant to sunlight, moisture and vapor penetration. It is also an economical alternative as the need for conduits and pull boxes is eliminated.

250V BS 6883 Individual Screen Instrumentation & Control Cable construction

1. Conductor: Tinned copper wire stranded circular cl. 2 BS 6360/IEC 60228.
2. Insulation: HF-EPR GP4 according to BS 7655 1.2.
3. Lay-up: Pairs, triples, quads.
4. Individual Screen: Aluminium/polyester tape + drain wire tinned copper.
5. Inner Sheath: Halogen free thermosetting compound SW4 according to BS 7655 2.6 or reduced halogen thermosetting compound SW2 according to BS 7655 2.6.
6. Armour: Galvanized steel wire braid. Tinned bronze wire braid can be offered upon request.
7. Outer Sheath: Halogen free thermosetting compound SW4 according to BS 7655 2.6 or reduced halogen thermosetting compound SW2 according to BS 7655 2.6.
