AS Flat TPS Cable Application

AS Flat TPS Cable,full name is the Australian and New Zealand standards, copper conductor PVC insulated and sheathed flat cable, equivalent to the domestic BVVB cable, its English name is: Flat TPS Cable.This cable is intended for connecting the indoor lamps, switches, sockets, appliances and other equipment, can also be laid in pipes or buried underground, is one of the most commonly used cable.

AS Flat TPS Cable Description

Australian standard flat cable , with the domestic BVVB flat cable , with the following differences :

(1)Different conductor materials. Domestic BVVB flat cable , usually with the class a conductor , and the Australian standard flat cable is generally used Class 2 conductors.
(2)different conductor structure. Domestic BVVB conductor flat wire , usually copper single product rather hard ; while Australian standard flat wire conductor , usually copper wire twisted together by the multi-branched products is relatively soft .
(3)different insulation materials . Insulation material domestic BVVB flat cable is an ordinary PVC material ( temperature does not exceed 70 ℃), while Australian standard flat cable insulation material of PVC material V-90 (working temperature does not exceed 90 ℃).
(4)different sheathing materials . Sheath material domestic BVVB flat cable is the ordinary PVC material ( temperature does not exceed 70 ℃), while the Australian standard flat cable insulation material is 3V-90 in PVC material ( temperature does not exceed 90 ℃, but also easy to tear ) .
(5)different insulation colors.

AS Flat TPS Cable Service Condition

(1) Cable Uo / U is 450/750V.
(2) When used in the DC system, the nominal voltage of the system should not exceed 1.5 times the rated voltage.
(3) Industry standard cable laying temperature should not be less than 0 degrees, diameter (D) is less than the permissible bending radius of 25mm cable should not be less than 4D, an outer diameter of 25mm and above permissible bending radius of cable should not be less than 6D.
