Introduction: E507FeXG is a kind of iron powder electrode with low-hydrogen natrium type coating specially used for pipelines. In vertical downward welding, the slags do not fall off. The arc is stable and has a little spray force. It has good slag detachability, beautiful ripples, excellent mechanical properties, excellent crack-resistance and higher deposition efficiency.


Uses: Suitable for downward welding, downward fillet welding and downward butt groove welding on round pipes with thickness lower than or equal to 9mm, and also used for downward backing weld on round pipes with thickness higher than 9mm.

Instructions:
1.The electrodes must be baked under about 350℃ for an hour before welding, and used as soon as baking is completed.
2.The stains on the weldments, such as rust, oil stains, moisture, etc., must be cleared away before welding.
3.It is suitable to manipulate the electrodes directly downwards or with a little downward crescent weaving, but the weaving should not be too wide.
4.Striking arc should be completed out of the groove and, when starting the manipulation of electrodes, the molten pool should be filled before the manipulation of electrodes.
